The Clinton County Homeless Shelter can provide emergency shelter for up to 38 men, women and children each night. We maintain three different properties: Women and Children's Shelter, Men's Shelter and the Darleen Myers House which houses the shelter's administrative offices and our 24-hour food pantry.
The Darleen Myers House is located at 390 West Main Street in Wilmington. This location houses our administrative office along with our 24-hour food pantry. It is staffed Monday through Friday from 7:00am until 3:00pm.
The Women and Children's Shelter is located at 36 Gallup Street in Wilmington. This property is our flagship location and first opened in 1988. It houses women, children and also has a couple of family rooms.
The Men's Shelter is located at 30 Gallup Street in Wilmington which is next door to our Women's and Children's Shelter. It opened in 2008.
Those in need of emergency shelter can call the shelter at 937-382-6272 or stop by the Darleen Myers House during the week or the Women and Children's Shelter.
